“Drawing is vision on paper. More than that, it is individual vision, tied up with individual perception, interest, observation, character, philosophy and a host of other qualities all coming from one source. -Andrew Loomis”—
Happy new year!!! What’s a new year without resolutions? I’m documenting this for my own good with people to witness it!
2012 was great and I’m not going to go over each detail and bore the people who are reading this — but yes, I am going to share my 2013 plans. Realistic and achievable, but really challenging for me - brave steps.
1. THIS IS SECRET. Can’t share it yet right now:) I’ll blog about it once i do it.
2. CONQUER RUNS and CONQUER MOUNTAINS. Here’s to the beautiful Philippine outdoors!
3. DRAW MORE. TIme to bring out the pencils & sketchbooks.
4. START A BUSINESS. It’s now or never.
5. RENOVATE. My room and our house needs major work. I want to be able to design it myself!
6. TRAVEL BEYOND ASIA. Here’s to the U.S. and London!
7. BAG MAKING CLASSES.
8. MAKE A DRESS.
9. BLOG MORE! i actually have a blogspot account that’s been there since Jan 2012 that i haven’t activated yet! sheesh.
10. BE MORE FAITHFUL. I plan to do retreats this year and get closer to Him.
Bought a discounted deal from deal grocer for an overnight stay in Taal Vista Tagaytay. It was my first time here and i was impressed! I’ve been to Tagaytay so many times, but this was by far, the best hotel i stayed in:) I bought the deal for 4,200 - premiere room - it was sooo spacious!

I went to look for Craft MNL located at the Collective along Malugay street yesterday. I wanted to see the workshops in action before i enroll in one. They have really interesting workshops! Book binding, silk screen, rubber cutting, etc. Unfortunately, they were closed:(
I still really enjoyed my trip to the Collective though. It was my first time to go to this place. I used to pass by and notice a lot of restaurants and bars along the road, but stepping in the actual building was something else.
There were lots of interesting crafts and art stores. One of which, Vinyl on Vinyl, is a store that celebrates Art, toys, and music:)
I love this toy. so cute!
The walls of the entire building were filled with really nice graffiti art. I was so amazed. I saw a couple of folks writing on the walls too -
So many talented Filipinos. So proud:)
We had dinner at wingman right after.
Anton with his mug of draft beer:)
Me, with his mug of draft beer.
the draft beer. hahaha
And the Buffalo Wings (Wingman’s specialty). Yummy! Can’t wait for Craft MNL workshop! This place has really inspired me! Till then, cheers!
Ever wondered where Harvey and Mike get their awesome suits from? I wanted to do this entry ever since I started watching the series..Watching these guys in their suits makes you want to be a lawyer:D I recently came upon this site Mr Porter which apparently is the supplier of the suits of Harvey and Mike on the show. May i just say, what a great job! Slow clap.. Ever since this series became a hit, every guy wants to dress like Harvey Specter. Kudos to Mr Porter for owning this and for having really great suit quality that you can clearly see on TV. Thank God for HD.
Really great idea too in creating a Harvey style of suit (uptown) and a Mike style of suit (downtown). There is a video in their site that shows an exclusive interview with Gabriel Macht himself and his take on suits, and Peter Adams and his take on Harvey’s suits. Really interesting!
There are other interesting channels too that creatively link the brand to the show:
And this post wouldn’t be complete without praising the flawless Jessica Pearson. May I just express how impeccable and beautiful her style is on her show?! I wanted to repeat the entire series just to do screen caps of what she wears..Her clothes are just mature, elegant, and gorgeous.
Really great job to the suits team for having such great style on the show, and for the cast for looking great in it. I love everything about this show! more! more!
We are into the 2nd half of the year, and it’s once again time for detoxing! Master cleanse a.k.a. lemonade diet, is my favorite out of all the detoxing programs - it gives me energy, around 700 calories a day, and helps me lose weight fast. Don’t get me wrong, I’m NOT doing this as a diet. It is simply a detox program I do twice a year to cleanse my body from all the sinful food. I will be coupling with simple exercises too.
Everyone needs detoxing to get rid of all the shit we’ve been eating. We owe our bodies cleaning! Wish me luck. 10 days…..I hope i have enough willpower to do this!:)
